So, this is a thread where I thought we could discuss some decent setups that we have, I was thinking, "Why trust an IGN/Gamespot article when I got the pros here"
So, let's hear it, what's your setup like?

My setup is a 47' Samsung 1080P LED TV, so far I'm trying to get the right picture for a decent gaming aspect.
I have an Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, and my computer sitting by my TV.
I use TVs because I cannot see from far distances, so I figured a big screen can help, though I would like a 4K TV or large monitor.
My headset is a 3.5mm Turtle Beach XO Ones, no Bluetooth. Pretty good sound and bass, comes with an adapter that adds 2 extra levels of bass.

If possible, can anyone explain why TVs have the tendency to show gray in dark spots like in a room. I know QLED/OLED are good examples of showing black colors perfectly.

I'm running it on PC
FX8350 cpu (8 cores) was running it on a A8 6600k (4 cores) just fine lol but was planning to upgrade anyway
8gb of Hyper X DDR3 memory
Toxic R9 270 2gb DDR5 Graphic card
21 inch HP monitor
and some really old Altec Lansing 500 series speakers.....that I got at Wal Mart for 75% off (damaged box) like 13 years ago :) They still thump plus they are the only survivor that has been a part of every PC build I've made for myself :D

A TMS9900 @ 3 mhz.
256 bytes of ram, and a 32k expansion module.
TMS9918 VDS with 16k of video memory.
The speech synthesizer.
A Genesis controller with the internal IC removed and connections bridged to work with an Atari, together with an Atari to TI converter.

When I finally get a PEB, I'm gonna get an 80 column card. Awwwwwww yeah.

Still using the same system that some forumites on the UL forum helped me with. Well, they pointed me to a site and I went shopping šŸ˜†
I've upgraded the video card, though.

Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core
Asus Z97-A motherboard
16GB Kingston Hyper
MSI RX 480 8GB
Thermaltake Versa H23 Case (with 3x 4000rpm Noctua fans).
Win 7 Pro 64bit
22" HP Monitor (still have my old 22" Samsung that I thought didn't have the connection I needed. Turns out it does. Oops).

I want to upgrade my system to an i7 but will need a new motherboard.

Got a new keyboard. Cougar Deathfire EX RGB Keyboard and Mouse Gaming Combo.
For years I'd had an Acer that came with my old dinosaur. Over the years I'd just get another one when it got too dirty.

I have desktop speakers, so use headphones, Sony MDR-Q38LW, but my Japanese supplier has raised his prices and now they are stupidly expensive. It's the only headphone I like and can stand using. Not into big clunky headsets or those in-ear things. Has to be Sony, and no cheap knock-off (tried them, ears were too big, lol).

That's about it.
